About Karmen Geller, ND, LAc
Dr. Geller is a native Oregonian that was greatly influenced by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She completed her doctorate of naturopathic medicine and masters of acupuncture from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland and trained extensively in Chinese medicine, clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, as well as pharmacology and conventional medical treatments. She completed a 2-year women’s health fellowship, as well as a 6 month clinical mentorship in Cardiology. For acupuncture, she primarily uses a Japanese-style technique which is a very gentle and effective style of acupuncture that is perfect for needle-sensitive patients.

Dr. Geller is a family practitioner with an emphasis in natural medicine and acupuncture. Her integrative approach to medicine combines the use of modern advances in Western medicine along with ancient philosophies of Eastern and herbal medicine to achieve optimum and individualized healthcare for her patients. Dr. Geller’s area of expertise include treating men, women and children who suffer from pain, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, depression, allergies, headaches, digestive complaints and hormonal disorders.

Before attending medical school, Dr. Geller was a botanist in Costa Rica and had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the implementation of many native plant and educational gardens in Monteverde, Costa Rica. It was during her 2 years abroad that she discovered her love for botanical and natural medicine. Dr. Geller also became proficient in Spanish during her years abroad. In present day, she in the Mother of a son & daughter who bring so much joy and determination to her life. In practice and life, Dr. Karmen Geller has a great appreciation of nature and spends much of her free time hiking, gardening, and camping with friends and family.
